Youth exchanges

Youth exchanges allow groups of young people from different countries to meet, live together and work on common projects for short periods.

Youth exchanges take place outside the school environment. On a youth exchange, you can expect to participate in activities such as workshops, exercises, debates, role plays, outdoor activities and more.

Participants' learning experiences are recognized with a Youthpass.

Youth exchanges last between 5 and 21 days. This excludes travel time.

Youth exchanges are open to people between the ages of 13 and 30. To be a group leader on a youth exchange, you must be at least 18 years old.

Youth exchanges are managed by youth organisations, informal youth groups or other organisations.

Training for youth workers

This activity supports the professional development of youth workers by implementing activities such as transnational/international seminars, training courses, contact events, study visits, etc. or periods of observation/observation abroad in an organization active in the field of youth. All these activities are organized by the organizations participating in the project. The participation of youth workers in such activities contributes to strengthening the capacities of their organization and should have a clear impact on the daily work of youth workers with young people. The learning outcomes should be further disseminated in the youth field.
